Park Steward Training Starts Soon!

Back to News & Updates

Jump into the New Year with a plan to help in the Frederick Law Olmsted Parks. Join us on Thursday, January 23 at 7:00pm to learn more about the Park Steward program.

A Park Steward is a volunteer leader who receives in-depth training by our energetic staff in order to help with park projects, volunteer events and/or community outreach. Our training program teaches you about the history of the Frederick Law Olmsted Parks and their importance in our community, how to identify plants, as well as how to properly remove invasive plants and plant native trees and shrubs. To qualify you must be 18 years or older.

This information session will be held at the Conservancy’s office at 1299 Trevilian Way Louisville, KY 40213. Please register and let us know you are coming! Register now.
