Individuals and Groups Make a Difference

Back to News & Updates

This past Saturday, volunteers from University of Louisville’s service fraternity Alpha Tau Omega helped to spread mulch to protect trees in Stansbury Park. In Iroquois Park, volunteers from Northeast Christian Church worked with our Restoration staff to manage the prairie known as Summit Field. Many thanks to these community minded individuals and groups for helping to preserve our treasured Frederick Law Olmsted Parks!

Northeast Christian Church members have volunteered with us on several occasions so their members have enjoyed helping with a variety of projects in multiple Olmsted-designed parks.

If you also want to help keep our parks beautiful, check the schedule for volunteer dates or contact Sarah Wolff to schedule a project for you or your group. We hope to see you in the parks soon!
