New Bicycle Racks in the Olmsted Parks!

Back to News & Updates

Louisville’s Olmsted Parkways make our parks part of a unique park system, and exploring them on a bicycle gives you a great appreciation for the connectivity.

Schneider Electric and Olmsted supporters Jackie and Wes Cobb have made a generous gift to ensure that cyclists have plenty of places to secure their bikes in our parks. The Olmsted Parks Conservancy team is installing bike racks in Central, Elliott, Shelby and Willow Parks this summer!

Park supporters like Schneider Electric and the Cobbs help us to bridge the gap between the funding that the parks receive, and the funding they deserve. We are thrilled to be able to bring these amenities to the Olmsted Park System!
