Louisville Parks and Recreation, in partnership with Olmsted Parks Conservancy (OPC), has begun the process to refresh the Master Plan for the Big Rock Area (Big Rock) of Cherokee Park. This process will bring together the original historic plan with the community’s current needs and ideas to create a balanced plan that respects the historic and environmental significance of Big Rock while also taking advantage of new opportunities, addressing challenges, and helping make Big Rock a place Louisvillians can enjoy for years to come.
