Back to News & Updates

Over 60 volunteers came out to help plant trees in Shelby Park in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service. Several individuals and groups enjoyed the beautiful weather and sense of community which permeated the event. Check out our photos, and the photo gallery and video courtesy of the Courier Journal’s Alton Strupp and  Michael Clevenger. Thanks to everyone who came out in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. to help cultivate the soil of our parks and community!
