Central Park spray pad now open!

Back to News & Updates
We were thrilled to cut the ribbon on the Central Park spray pad and celebrate the completion of the Central Park playground renovations this month!  This project had the support of more donors than any other capital project that Olmsted Parks Conservancy has ever completed, and we are so grateful for the community that made this happen.
In addition to the spray pad, we completed a new nature play space at the park… be sure to check out the big tic tac toe game!
Special thanks to The Woman’s Club of Louisville, Norton Family Foundation, Mackin Family Foundation, Cralle Foundation, Gheens Foundation, Wood and Marie Hannah Foundation, and Schneider Electric along with Old Louisville neighborhood families and Friends of Central Park. We were thrilled to work with Louisville Parks and Recreation on this project and are grateful to Mayor Craig Greenberg and Councilman Phillip Baker for supporting this transformation.
