Seneca Park tennis courts to be improved

Back to News & Updates

Louisville Metro Parks and Recreation, District 9 Councilman Bill Hollander and the Louisville 10 an Under Tennis Association have partnered on a project that will result in much-needed improvements to the popular courts at Seneca Park.

Starting Monday, crews from Riverside Paving, with assistance from Tennis Technologies, will begin to resurface and fill cracks on five of Seneca Park’s courts. After that is complete, similar work will be performed on the other five courts. Five courts will remain open at Seneca for use throughout the duration of the project, which is to be completed by early June. CM Hollander, the Louisville 10 and Under Tennis Association and Metro Parks combined to fund the approximately $64,000 project.
