2023-2033 Strategic Plan

Back to News & Updates

When you make a donation to Olmsted Parks Conservancy, what does your gift support? Most park lovers in Louisville know that we restore, enhance and protect Louisville’s historic Olmsted Park System, but what does that mean exactly?

This year, we conducted a planning process to create a strategic plan to guide our work for the next ten years. Our new vision statement is a result of this process: We elevate our parks to bring the restorative power of nature to all.

You can read the full strategic plan HERE.

Your donation supports five main initiatives: Park investments, stewardship, outreach and advocacy, community programming and organizational excellence. These initiatives are rooted in our organizational values.

Together, we can elevate Louisville’s Olmsted Park System and ensure accessible, vibrant, healthy green spaces for every community. A donation plants a seed. A sustaining membership helps a seed grow. Join as a member or make an additional donation to be part of this important work!
