Give a gift that grows! Tree adoption now available.

Back to News & Updates

This holiday season, you can give a gift that speaks to your loved one’s connection to nature.

NEW: Adopt a tree in an Olmsted Park! $100: Symbolic adoption* of a heritage tree helps us care for that tree and all trees in the Olmsted Park System! You will receive a commemorative certificate and tree profile. Mature trees like those available for adoption are essential to cleaner air and healthy habitats.

You can also invest in the future of our tree canopy by planting a new tree in an Olmsted Park! For $350 – $1,000, you can choose a tree or flowering shrub to have planted, and you will receive a commemorative ornament to keep or gift.

Don’t forget to visit our online store to purchase a t-shirt, bandana or other park-themed gift to complete the gift giving experience!

*Trees available for symbolic adoption were selected for their historic and aesthetic importance. Each tree is available to be adopted by multiple park enthusiasts!
