Beargrass Preserve Update – Spring 2024

Back to News & Updates

Learn, dream and grow… this is the process for the Beargrass Preserve master plan.

Taylor Siefker Williams Design Group has unveiled preliminary designs for approximately 25 acres of land purchased from the Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary thanks to the generosity of Norman and Belita Noltemeyer in 2021. The land had been advertised as a development opportunity, with more than 70 sites available for home construction. Thanks to the Noltemeyers’ commitment to conservation, Olmsted Parks Conservancy has been entrusted to protect the property as park land in perpetuity.

After site studies and public input meetings, we have a vision for this new expansion of Louisville’s historic Olmsted Park System. To view Taylor Siefker Williams Design Group’s presentation on the process and potential, follow the link below!
