Tyler Park Stage Update – March 2024

Back to News & Updates

When you visit Tyler Park, you’ll notice that work has begun to prepare the site for the new stage. The project will move forward when masons complete their work around the Chickasaw Park pond. Park projects are always weather dependent, but we hope you will see the stage start to take shape in April. We are looking forward to the wonderful Tyler Park music venue to open this summer!

A generous gift to Olmsted Parks Conservancy has made it possible to build the new Tyler Park stage. The stage is the last capital improvement of the Tyler Park Restoration Plan that was initiated in 2018. Olmsted Parks Conservancy and Louisville Parks and Recreation have invested almost $1.5 million in the park since 2018.
