Supporting our furry friends with Pets4Life

Back to News & Updates

We smile every time we see a furry friend trotting on the trails, taking in the sights and sounds of our parks. Dogs and parks go together perfectly, and we are fortunate in Louisville to have the Olmsted Parks System with its multitude of natural areas where we can exercise and enjoy the view with our pets.

Everyone deserves to have a companion animal that brings them joy, and we are honored to partner with Pets4Life to ensure that all families have the pet resources they need. Pets4Life provides vet wellness clinics and vaccine clinics in underserved areas where veterinary resources are scarce. Parks make great locations for these events, as they are generally accessible and they are joyful, relaxing places for pets to be!

The next Pets4Life Clinic takes place in Iroquois Park on July 12 at the Sunnyhill Pavilion. For more information, visit pets4lifelou.org.
