Plant ID Stroll with Patricia Haragan

Join botanist and author Patricia Haragan as she leads plant identification strolls through Louisville’s Olmsted Parks and Beargrass Creek State Nature Preserve. Explore with Patricia, author of the book The Olmsted Parks of Louisville: A botanical field guide, as she points out the characteristics of a variety of plants and discusses the history and folklore of our flora. 

Patricia’s extensive knowledge and infectious enthusiasm have been known to leave novices and experts alike wanting more, so Olmsted Parks Conservancy and Louisville Nature Center are happy to offer these outings!

The strolls are presented rain or shine so dress appropriately for outdoor activity. In the event of severe weather, the event will be held indoors at the Louisville Nature Center.
