2021 Spring Membership Drive

Back to News & Updates

Donate to Olmsted Parks Conservancy during our Spring Membership Drive now through May 16.

The Olmsted Parks gave us so much during the pandemic.

Now it’s our turn to give back.

Nature is the new normal.

When the pandemic began, our “normal” lives changed as we know it. But thanks to Olmsted Parks Conservancy members, our Olmsted Parks—the lush green jewels here right in our city’s backyard—provided a peaceful place to escape from the pressures of everyday life.

When everything closed, Louisville’s 17 Olmsted Parks and 6 Parkways remained open.

For the past year, the Olmsted Parks have served as sanctuaries, schools, offices, gyms, playgrounds, and community centers. They became our favorite places to relax, exercise, and explore while allowing us to safely immerse ourselves in the transformative beauty of nature during a time of extreme uncertainty.

By becoming a new or renewed Member of Olmsted Parks Conservancy, you’re giving back to the parks that have given so much to us.

We heard over and over again from park users, “I don’t know what I’d do without the Olmsted Parks.”
