Free family-friendly concert event in Cherokee Park on Sunday, June 9, 2019 from 2:30 to 7:30 pm. The main stage will be located at the base of Baringer Hill with festivities along Beargrass Creek connecting to Rugby Field, where food and beverage vendors will be stationed. Music acts will include:
• Plum Hokum: Louisville country western group with Sean Johnson, Anna Krippenstapel, Joe Manning, Chad Acton and John Pedigo.
• Noam Pikelny: Founding member of Punch Brothers, three-time Grammy Nominee and the 2010 Steve Martin Prize for Excellence in Banjo and Bluegrass recipient.
• Relic: Louisville bluegrass revival band with Aaron and Adam Bibelhauser, Chuck Sharp, Dave Howard and Tavis Conley.
VIP experience tickets are $75 and include an Olmsted Parks Conservancy annual membership, Cherokee Park t-shirt, preferred concert seating and private restroom access.
