Olmsted Parks Conservancy invites the community to give input on future improvements in Chickasaw Park!
When you take part in this survey, you help contribute to the future vision for a community landmark long regarded as a symbol of pride and belonging for generations of Black Louisvillians.

Recent community wide investment has elevated Chickasaw Park, with a restored pond, renovated tennis courts and the new Sankofa Sanctuary. As the only park in the country designed by the Olmsted Firm for Black Americans during segregation, Chickasaw Park is a site of national significance. We still have more work to do to honor the history of the park and its people.

Home to West Louisville Tennis Club, beloved by Muhammad Ali and cherished as a hub of Black life in Louisville, Chickasaw Park is a Louisville treasure. Olmsted Parks Conservancy is honored to work with the community to steward this historic landscape.
