Volunteer Spotlight: Crosley Radio and Modern Marketing Concepts

Back to News & Updates

Crosley Radio and Modern Marketing Concepts have only been involved with Olmsted Parks Conservancy for less a year, but are already making a significant contribution to the health and beauty of the Olmsted Parks!

Crosley Radio and Modern Marketing Concepts’ president Keith Starr, a Highlands neighborhood resident, has been an Olmsted Parks Conservancy member for a couple of years. After reading the Conservancy newsletters and seeing the different volunteer opportunities, Starr thought his company would be a good fit with Conservancy’s work. “We thought that because our offices are so close to Cherokee Park and many of our team members enjoy the parks, why not help out the park system that everyone enjoys?” Starr said.

Crosley Radio and Modern Marketing Concepts have two locations in Louisville comprised of around 70 employees, and on a monthly basis volunteer in the parks. They have worked in Cherokee, Central and Tyler Parks. The group enjoys volunteering because, “Not only is it a great opportunity to help your community, but it’s an opportunity to be outside and learn about our park system,” Starr said.

Thanks Crosley Radio and Modern Marketing Concepts for your loyalty to OPC. If you and your co-workers are interested in planning volunteer events with OPC, contact Sarah Wolff at Sarah.Wolff@olsmtedparks.org .
