Take the EcoBoost Challenge and help out in Chickasaw Park this Saturday!

Back to News & Updates

Ford Motor Company is currently holding an initiative called “EcoBoost Challenge” right here in Louisville and blogger Jason Falls can use YOUR help winning the challenge and earning free gasoline for Louisville.

Local Louisville blogger Jason Falls is one contestant out of eight nationally competing to see who can get the highest MPG in a F-150 in five days of real-world fuel economy competition.  In addition, the contestants are each holding a local community service project and they they will be judged on how many residents they get to participate.

Jason has kindly chosen to partner with Olmsted Parks Conservancy to host a community clean-up in Chickasaw Park!  The event will be this Saturday, August 27th 9 AM to 12 PM.  If enough Louisvillians show up and our city wins the “EcoBoost Challenge”, Shell will provide free regular-grade gasoline at two local Louisville Shell gas stations on September 2nd for 2 hours and 22 minutes, in honor of the 22 miles per gallon the Ford F150 EcoBoost delivers on the highway.

Please join us in encouraging friends and families to turn out for this fun opportunity to help out in Chickasaw Park and to help Jason win the Ford Motor Company “EcoBoost Challenge”!
