News: More Trees and Shrubs Thanks to LG&E

Thanks to LG&E’s Plant for the Planet grant we are planting more shrubs and trees in Seneca Park, after removing invasive plants along Pewee Reese Rd at the Seneca walking loop. Great news! The work to add a new playground at Willow Park is DONE! The old playground was removed and the new one was installed immediately. TEN YEARS! Congratulations to our very dedicated Volunteer Recruiter and Parks Activity Leader, Sarah Wolff, who this April celebrates ten years at the Conservancy. Although today Sarah is the point person at Olmsted Parks Conservancy for recruiting volunteers and matching them to the right park project, she started with the Conservancy as a volunteer.
