Interpretive Hike: Winter Tree Identification

Join us for an interpretive hike in Cherokee Park to learn the basics of winter tree and plant identification or to brush up on your skills! Take a walk with Olmsted Parks Conservancy’s Education and Volunteer Program Manager Matt Spalding, and practice identifying plants by looking at tree bark and buds. Hot chocolate and tea will be provided!

This is an all-ages event. Children should be accompanied by an adult. This hike is rain or shine. Weather-appropriate clothes and footwear with good tread are encouraged. Please arrive at Hogan Fountain 10 minutes early to ensure a prompt start.

Tickets are free for Olmsted Parks Conservancy members and $8 for non-members.
