The Butterfly and Bee Pollinator Meadow in honor of Muhammad Ali was proposed by Mariel Gardner of the West End Women’s Collaborative, inspired by a sermon by Reverend Woodrow McElvaney about Muhammad Ali’s relationship to Chickasaw Park. This 3-acre meadow features native plants that form a beneficial habitat and put on a colorful display in the summer months.


Description
Summit Field is a pollinator-friendly prairie maintained as a native grassland. It is accessible via the paved Uppill Road, or to hikers via the Corbly Trail.
