Meet Hannah Heine, Marketing Intern

Back to News & Updates

Olmsted Parks Conservancy has a very small office staff and park crew, so summer interns make big contributions by helping us take care of the Olmsted Parks! We are happy to introduce Hannah Heine, our marketing intern, who is in the office learning about Olmsted, the parks, and how non-profits work. Hannah has been working hard this summer serving as the in-house videographer, writing newsletter articles and launching the Conservancy’s Twitter feed.

A Louisville native and University of Dayton rising senior, Hannah Heine is double majoring in Public Relations and Spanish. She lives with her parents, two brothers, and beloved Labra-doodle, Boland, during school breaks in their Audubon Park home.

“I grew up in the Highlands and visited the parks daily with my mom and brothers when we were young.” Hannah remembers. Heine learned of the Olmsted Parks Conservancy through a friend, but before that had no idea how fortunate her hometown is to have such a historic park system and the Conservancy advocating and caring for it. “I always knew our parks were wonderful, but I now appreciate that there is a bigger picture and plan for them that was put in place a long time ago by Frederick Law Olmsted.”

When Hannah isn’t in the office you can find her taking advantage of Louisville’s unique and local eateries, walking with her dog, and messing around with her new camera.

Thank you Hannah for your contributions to Olmsted Parks Conservancy!
