Bench Restoration John Hayes 9.28.17 (2)

Olmsted Park Steward John Hayes has been improving the woods in the parks, not by removing invasive plants, but restoring our Olmsted Park benches. John is a retiree and experienced woodworker. To-date, he has restored 14 Olmsted Park benches, donating over 150 hours of hard work. The Conservancy greatly appreciates John’s efforts, which help to enhance places for park visitors to take a break and celebrate the beauty of Louisville’s Olmsted Parks. Thank you John!
