Fred's Facts

Iroquois Park was nicknamed “Louisville’s Yellowstone”. Frederick Law Olmsted’s design took advantage of the rugged terrain and the drama of the mature woodlands and scenic overlooks. At the heart of the park is a 10,000-year-old forest that blankets the knob’s steep hillsides with a great variety of rare plants and animals.

News: Local Support Helps Big Rock Jazz and Blues Fest

On September 18 starting at 6:30pm, Great Flood Brewing and Vines and Canines are hosting a fundraiser to support this years Big Rock Jazz and Blues Fest. “Big Rock After Dark” party will be held outside in the patio area of the two businesses (1985 Douglass Blvd).
